What is GlobalG.A.P. ?

GlobalG.A.P. (GAP- Good Agricultural Practice) is a standard that was developed by the Euro-Retailer Produce Working Group (EUREP), to ensure safe production of fresh food (vegetables, fruits, tea, coffee, fish, meat, dairy products, etc.) as well as flowers and ornamental plants. The purpose of the standard is to minimize the risks of agricultural production by tracking the entire production cycle. Unlike other international standards for food safety, GlobalG.A.P. standard is applicable only for fresh agricultural products.
